Newspapers in the UK are likely to be either left or right wing in their ideologies in the way they represent the stories. This means that each story we hear as consumers will be different per newspaper/ article. The first newspapers cover (daily mail) represents the right wing which means that people who prefer to read and agree with right wing beliefs are more likely to read the daily mail as it agrees with its audience (reception theory). The main coverline of the daily mail says, ‘hands off our election’ and this shows that we as English people own our country and should be proud about it. This can be seen as a patriotic move by the daily mail and push their agenda against any foreign outsiders to leave us alone. Binary opposition takes place as it creates a good and evil in this country between the people as this could be against other groups such as labour or any foreign outsider interference and this could spark conflict between the political groups. Timed Essay Q2

 The Jungle book was originally created in 1967 as an animation film back then because of the technology was not as sophisticated as it is now. The target audience of the film back then was completely different as it was aimed for kids 3-8 year old's whereas the new modern and updated film has a new target audience and is now much broader at 10+ but since the film is a remake of the original it already gets the secondary target audience without Disney doing anything extra to appeal to that audience. That secondary audience is the parents and grandparents of the kids who had watched the original when it released all those years ago (Escapism).   On the cover of the big issue Trump is in the for front of the cover with the earth next to him with other images in background. The cover takes the mick out of American Politics by having trump with a bigger head than earth which would suggest that his ego is huge and outweighs humanities. Donald J. Trump is a right-wing enthusiast and anyone that is left wing would want to read this as its probably in their interest to read this as it makes fun of the opposite party. The headline of the magazine is very sarcastic about the text by having it say ‘What’s the worst that could happen’ with trump next it, implying that he is the worst thing that can happen.
